Idaho USA Pageants

We are very excited to hold this year's MISS IDAHO USA^® and MISS IDAHO TEEN USA^® competitions and are committed to touching and enhancing the lives of each contestant who participates. During the two day event to be held October 24^th - 25^th, 2008, contestants will be participating in various seminars, self-esteem enhancing discussions, photo shoots, celebrity guest visits, rehearsals, scholarship opportunities plus a whole lot of fun!!! There are three rounds of competition which include interview, evening gown and swimwear. There will be thousands in prizes, cash and awards for the titlists and the top finalists as well as for some of the competing contestants. In addition, the Miss Idaho Teen USA winner will go on to compete in the MISS TEEN USA^® Pageant and the Miss Idaho USA winner will go on to compete in the MISS USA^® Pageant. Plus, the winner of the MISS USA pageant will represent the U.S. at the MISS UNIVERSE^® Pageant as seen on NBC Universal.

The Miss Universe Organization is proud to be in the 57^th year of operation providing young women with unique opportunities. The MISS UNIVERSE^®, MISS USA^® and MISS TEEN USA^® Pageants are a Donald J. Trump and NBC Universal joint venture. Utilizing its' nationwide grass roots infrastructure, the Miss Universe Organization is committed to increasing HIV/AIDS awareness and increasing awareness of breast and ovarian cancers. By forging relationships with organizations committed to research and education such as the Latino Commission on AIDS, Susan G. Komen for the Cure and Gilda's Club, the women who champion these causes during their reign are armed to impact women today. The titleholders of the Miss Universe Organization personify the combination of beauty and intelligence that defines the 21^st Century.

At the state level, contestants and state delegates have the wonderful opportunity to help raise awareness and/or funds for numerous charitable organizations such as the Race for the Cure (increasing awareness of early detection), DARE (to keep kids off drugs), Best Buddies (dedicated to enhancing the lives of people with intellectual disabilities by providing opportunities for one-to-one friendships), Anti-Drug Campaign (fighting drugs), Sparrow Clubs (people helping kids in medical crisis) and many others. The way we keep our organization running and able to provide contestants with such great opportunities is through sponsors and sponsorships. We ask that each contestant collect a sponsorship fee from local businesses, friends, family, organizations, etc. as part of her participation in this life-growing event. This sponsorship fee covers all of her expenses for the 2 day event (including hotel, meals, etc.) and goes towards the winner's incredible prize package and expenses for competing at the MISS USA^® Pageant and MISS TEEN USA^® Pageant.

This truly is a wonderful opportunity for each contestant to improve upon her inner-personal life success and interview skills needed for today's demanding goals and challenges.
